New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was confirmed as secretary of State Wednesday afternoon in a 94-2 vote of the U.S. Senate, reports NY 1. Sens. David Vitter (R-LA) and Jim DeMint (R-SC) voted against the nomination.
