President-elect Barack Obama announced key members of his economic team Monday, including Timothy Geithner as Treasury secretary; Lawrence Summers as head of the National Economic Council; and Christina Romer, an economist at the University of California, Berkeley, as chair of his Council of Economic Advisers.
