Sen. Roland Burris acknowledged Monday that he did, in fact, try to raise money for then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich at the request of the governor’s brother – and that he did so while trying to get appointed to Barack Obama’s Senate seat, reports Politico. But Burris said he was unsuccessful.
